Taylor Mac, a 2017 MacArthur Fellow and Pulitzer Prize finalist, brings you the latest installment of his 'A 24 Decade History of Popular Music' project. Taking the Holiday season head-on Mac explores the season in all its dysfunctional glory. From the music you love to the holiday you hate, Taylor Mac and his long-running collaborators (designer Machine Dazzle and music director Matt Ray) bring you a night full of special guests that will reframe the Holiday season.

Taylor Mac's talent as an actor, playwright, singer-songwriter, performance artist, director, and producer (the list goes on) has launched him as one of the world's leading Theater Artists. Under the watchful gaze of many a theater critic and awarding body, Mac creates work that excites and engages pulling the audience away from the humdrum conventions of everyday life and springboarding them into the world of Taylor Mac.
As well as a Pultizer Prize finalist for Drama, Mac has achieved awards from across the world, the Kennedy Prize for Drama and the NY Drama Critics Award to name but a few.

Thought Provoking
I saw this piece and genuinely fell in love with the extremity and absurdity of it all. I was
challenged in my own binary ways of thinking , while being amused by Taylor Mac's
comedy and jabs at the foundation of Christmas and what it has evolved to. Taylor Mac
is PERFORMANCE ART, meaning you do not have to agree or disagree in order for it to
make an impact on you, which is exactly Taylor Mac's goal. Go see this show if you want
to have an enjoyable and unconventional night at the theater, while taking away more

Absolutely enjoyable queer performance art!!
I saw this show back in 2018, saw this and thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. If you enjoy the type of queer art that pushes boundaries, challenges societal norms and is lavish in costuming and staging you will love it!! Taylor Mac is an award winning treasure of the LGBTQAI+ community. I highly recommend seeing one of his shows at least once in your life. ... Read more

it's best to know what you're getting into.
i happen to think that taylor mac is a genius...however his
"performance art" is not for everyone. to have this as part of a series
and present it to people who are not prepared is an injustice to him
and to the audience.....i look forward to his next show in s.f....i think he
